Official duty for all tourists leaving Monument Valley, you must of course stop by Four Corners monument. The monument itself is on the 4-state border, although the access and all the tourist traps are officially in New Mexico.

We made it to Cayton campground in the San Juan National Forest... this time with light to spare.  We picked up a bit of snow, but did not expect to wake up 8 inches of new snow in the morning!
Yes... Measured, 8.5 inches and still coming down!
Yes, we made it out just fine, up over Lizard Head Pass at 10,300 feet.
